Baby's First Christmas
Clover had her first Christmas this year & at 4 months old she didn't really understand any of it. She got her first taste of the loud and crazy family gathering, (which I don't think she liked too much), all the weird and strange people holding her and her first Christmas presents. At this age I guess all you can really do is just take lots of pictures and show them when they get older because she pretty much could care less about Christmas. But I did get to dress her in a cute little outfit!
Christmas Idiots....
For Christmas eve we went over to my aunt's house for a dinner and white elephant exchange. The boys, (i.e. Roger, Chad, & Michael) thought it would be funny to start the tradition of wearing hideous Christmas sweaters. We had to go on a hunt for these horrible things to 3 different stores before finding them in the women's plus size department at Walmart. Michael borrowed his from aunt Di but his was just as disgusting. So they got all gussied up and did their hair, which made them look like chester the molester. So luckily I got some pictures of them looking extremely boy band gay. Enjoy!
New Friends
At Thanksgiving we went and visiting some friends who live in Springfield, Oregon and got to meet their daughter Emma, who is 2 months older than Clover, for the first time. We put the two of them in the crib and on the floor together to see how they would interact. Clover (3 months) didn't really know what was going on, but Emma (5 months) was fascinated with Clover and just stared at her and kept trying to touch her trying to figure out what this little thing was. It was pretty funny. I think they each made a new friend that day....

I'm A Big Girl Now
Clover is finally able to sit in her bumbo chair. This little invention is really quite nice because they can sit up and see the world before they are able to sit up on their own. Also you can put them in it and get a few things done around the house. Clover doesn't really know what to think about it yet, she will only tolerate it for about 10 minutes. She's still a little wobbley in it but once she gets used to it I think she'll enjoy it a bit more. So thanks auntie Connie for our present....
Trip to Oregon
During our trip to Oregon for Thanksgiving we spent a few days in the town of Rogue River (which is near Medford) with Roger's aunt and uncle at their 18 acre farm. They have a beautiful piece of land with farms all around them and the Rogue River about a mile or two away. We took a walk around the neighborhood to show Clover the donkey, horses and the cows. I don't think she quite new what was going, but we enjoyed it.

Graduates
This past June '07 we went to my brother Michael's graduation at UofO. It was nice to be back; it's such a beautiful campus. It made me want to go back and get my masters. (maybe someday). I graduated from there in 2006, Michael now in 2007, and our cousin Chad will be a graduate by 2009. Then Clover will have to go there when she's ready for college in 2025!
