Santa Claus Freak Outs

(This Year 2009)

(Last Year 2008)

Santa Claus is a scary man for kids. Seriously people. We expect our kids to just go sit on some strange guys lap. What is wrong with parents, this is boarder line torture. Last year Clover did not do the Santa thing very well at all. This year, she was very nervous and wouldn't sit on his lap until I told her that Santa was giving out candy canes after you took your picture with him, which got her to stand next to him with a very nervous look on her face. Plus, the Santa this year was not very nice. First off he was late showing up. Then he wouldn't talk to, smile at, look at, or make the kids feel comfortable at all. I think maybe Santa hates his life and had a hang over.....

Sisterly Love?

Well, usually she is nice and sweet and kisses and hugs her little brother. This photo proves it.

Crew's 1st Halloween

Crew (5 weeks) was a pumpkin, same as Clover was on her first Halloween.

Crew's Baby Pics

These are Crewzer's (that's his nickname) 5 week baby pics. I think they turned out adorable, but I might be a little impartial.... and he did amazing. He slept for the first half, then he woke up and hung out without crying. He was born for the spotlight. (he kinda looks like an old man)

Baby Crew Has Arrived

Crew O'neal Campbell came into the world on Friday, Sept. 25 (which also happens to be my birthday) at 6:30 am at Kennewick General Hospital in Kennewick Washington weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 1/2 inches. He was born at 38 weeks and 1 day. It was a pretty exciting and unexpected birth considering I had just had a doctors appointment the day before and the doctor said I was only 1 cent. dilated and nothing had changed and everything was looking fine. I went to bed that night (Thursday) feeling fine and Roger went to work. (he works graveyard shift). I woke up at 3:30 am with some cramping not thinking much of it because I had been having false contractions for a few weeks. An hour went by and the contractions were not going away so at 4:30 I called Roger at work and told him I thought this was the real thing. He came home immediately and we started packing our things. Another half hour/hour went by and the contractions were getting closer and harder and Roger said I think we better go now. (the hospital is 30 miles and 40 minutes away). We woke up Clover and said we had to go to the doctor, jumped in the car and sped away (this was at 5:00 am). Then the contractions started full blown, hard fast and unbearable. I was sweating like I had just run a marathon and the pain was really bad. I thought I wanted to die. I told him he better drive faster, so he stepped on it and at 100 miles an hour we made it to the hospital in 20 minutes. I jumped into a wheelchair as Roger parked the car and grabbed Clover. They rushed me to my room, screaming in pain and asking to be doped up but by then it was too late, no drugs. (That was my plan all along, but in the moment you just want the unbearable pain to stop.) My water burst all over the room, Roger and Clover got there, he held her in one arm, my leg in another and in 20 minutes time Crew was born. The doctor didn't even make it in time, the nurses delivered and the doc. came in 5 minutes late and said ok I'm here. So, long story I had a 3 hour total labor, almost had the baby in the car and didn't even have a doctor there. It was pretty crazy. But, Crew is here and is healthy and is an awesome new addition to our family.

Clover's 2 year pictures

I got her 2 year old pictures taken about a week ago. I think they turned out really cute. (She picked out her own shoes)

Dance Recital video

Finally got the dance video up thanks to my amazing husband! (he wrote that)

Clovers First "Dance Recital"

Clover has been taking a little "dance class" once a week for the past month and they have been learning a little routine to show off at an old folks home at the end of their lessons. I say dance class loosely because it is mostly doing a few moves, playing some games, singing songs, and a lot of running around and not paying attention. The class is for I think 18 months to 4 years olds. Her and her friend Sofia were the youngest ones in the class and they were of coarse the two trouble makers who would run around and not do the moves the teacher was trying to teach. But, in the end they got to do their dance by themselves in front of an audience and I think Clover did good for her first time. They even got little certificate and roses after the performance from their teacher. It was cute. If nothing else it's entertaining to say the least.

(I tried to download the performance but i guess the file was too big and blogger wouldn't upload it).

They grow up so fast!

These 2 years has gone by so fast. My little baby is a crazy toddler now. She's talking like crazy, getting into mischief, pushing her limits, (and my buttons), making friends, taking fun classes, and learning about her world. Some things that Clover does and loves.... loves to watch the cartoon Caillou, says goodness and pats my back when I sneeze, gets up on our bathroom counters to get into the cabinets, has to imitate us by putting on lotion, deodorant, and perfume. She loves going to the city pool, seeing petting and riding horses, and playing with her best bud Sofia who lives next door. She says thank you mommy over and over when I give her something she wants, but has a temper and tends to throw things when she doesn't get what she wants. She is a fun happy kid and we love her. Here are some pictures of our little person from over the summer.

Clover Turns 2

Clover is now 2. Wow, that has gone by fast. She is a little adult now. (or at least she seems to think so). We had an elmo themed party because she is really into Elmo right now. I asked her if she wanted horses, tea party, or elmo for her birthday and Elmo won out. She got to wear an Elmo shirt, Elmo party hat, with matching cups, plates etc. and I made an Elmo cake. She had a good time and got awesome presents. Me and Roger and grandma got her a really cool play kitchen. She also got play food, dinnerware, and cooking pots and pans. A guy that Roger works with got her an electric little suv too. She is still figuring out how to drive that thing. Basically she made out like a spoiled bratt. Doesn't the first kid always get spoiled?

Blogger Loser

I know I haven't posted in forever. Still haven't gotten my computer up and running. I'm a slacker. I have tons of pics to post so I have to get on that, really I need a wireless modem and I can't find one in my small town sooo... well, we have moved to oregon and I thought I was getting away from Vegas's horrible summer heat but no, it has been around 100 degrees in Hermiston and with that little extra humidity and my lotta extra weight it is not that fun. Clover has made a few friends, our neighbors little girl Sophia which she plays with almost everyday. They are addicted to each other, always asking to play. We bought a little kids pool so they are in that all the time. We have gone camping, went to my mom's on the beach, and we are going to the portland zoo this weekend. Roger is doing some work training at his law enforcement academy for 5 weeks in Salem which is 4 hours away from home so he stays there during the week and we only get to see him on the weekends, so that kinda sucks. I am counting down the weeks until this baby comes out. My butt cannot possibly get any bigger and I've already gained all the weight I did with my first so I am not too happy about that. So far I am still liking my new town, even though clothes/grocery shopping is horrible and just about non-existant. I promise to get pics up soon. Clover is getting so big and she is turning 2 next month.

Moving & All That Jazz...

We have not set up the internet yet so I haven't been able to post all the pictures I have ready to blog. I am stealing WiFi on my labtop as we speak so hopefully in the near future we'll get our computer set up and I'll be able to get caught up on all the stuff that has happened since we moved to Oregon. So far things are good, I like it here in little Hermiston. Everyone is nice, there are lots of parks, and I am signing Clover up for a bunch of summer activities through the city parks and rec department here. Our place is good, having never have seen it before we moved in. I am pleasantly surprised how decent it is. There is a little girl a few months younger that Clover next door to play with and a park right across the street. Roger likes working for the Oregon Department of Corrections a lot better than Nevada so that is good. Also we only have one car now so Roger got a motorcycle so he can get back and forth to work and I won't be stuck at home all the time. He is super excited about that. It's a older honda 900 something or other. I don't even know. I lost/got my wedding ring stollen (we're not really sure) in our move, so that sucked. I am in the process of trying to find a doctor but there are only 2 full time OBGYN's here so I have to look in other cities around the area. I don't know if I've said, but we are having a boy, Roger has decided on the name, I kinda have no choice now, It is Crew Oneal (oneal is a family middle name, whatever). I am counting the days until I get my body back and get rid of my back fat, cellulite and thunder thighs. I am bigger sooner than last time and it sucks! Pictures and more blogging to come in the near future......

Where The Heck Is Hermiston, Oregon???

So where the heck is Hermiston, Oregon you ask and why does anyone even care? Well, in 2 weeks time this little town is where we will be living. Roger finally got a call from the Oregon Department of Corrections for a job opening. It's not exactly where we wanted to end up in Oregon but we decided to just take it because it has to be better than living in Vegas. This little town in Northeast Oregon has but 16,0000 people. It is a farming community that is supposed to have the best watermellons around. They also boast one of the best pro rodeos in the country. There are 2 rivers that run within a few miles of the town and even though it is kind of off in its own little area it is within a few hours drive of Portland, Spokane, and Seatle. So, Roger has been up there once for an interview and he is going up again this week to do a medical physical and find us a place to live. I, having never been there will be trusting in my husband that this place is a nice town to live in. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we will end up loving this little town. So finally after stupidly leaving our little peace of heaven in Eugene, Oregon and moving to Las Vegas after 4 years of wishing we never moved we are heading back. Yeah! Goodbye hot, ugly, dirty, nasty, expensive, hot, windy, did I mention hot, yucky Vegas!
